If you want to add your blog or site to Google webmaster tools then you must verify domain name by uploading a .html file to your website and then confirm it by visiting that particular .html file. It seems to be so simple but for a newbie it is something difficult to handle.
Now no need worry about that, Google made domain verification more easy.
Verification Made Easy
On June 4 2012 Google posted on Webmaster tools blog that verifying domain name for Google services like Webmaster tools and Google Apps is now easy.
In a collaboration with Go daddy and eNom Google is introducing a very simple and easy way.
So remember for now this new and easy way of verifying domain name is supported for Go daddy and eNom domains.
Starting with the process to verify domain.
Step #1
Access webmaster tools site using your Gmail logins and now click Add site, now enter site URL. As shown in below image.

Step #2
After adding your domain URL you will be taken to a page where you will find options to verify your domain name. Below is a sample image.

Here click Alternate methods and select Domain name provider option to verify. In this select your domain registrar (Go daddy/eNom) then click verify.
Step #3
A window pops up asking your login details of domain registrar (eNom in this case)

Step #4
Confirm that you are allowing domain registrar application to access Google account.

In the next step it again prompt to confirm to make sure once again. Click YES.

Then its done! You successfully verified your blog owner ship. In the same way you can try Google Apps.
Google also posted that in near future Blue host customers will be able to enjoy this feature.
Share with your friends to help them know about this!
