Most of bloggers and SEOs neglect Slideshare, which is a “Quiet Giant Of Content Marketing”. Using Slideshare you can easily make your content go viral. And it brings you lot of traffic, which we all are in need.

So lets get started, learning few important things about Slideshare advantages.
Can you really get 10000+ of Page Views in a Month?
Yes, if you work smartly you can easily get it. Because working hard is of no use when you don`t act smartly 
And it is not a one time short, as we all knew getting traffic needs work with patience! Here in this case it is same.
Ok now, let me give one example of a person who made it. He is davidcrandall, in 2011 he released this project. Just in few days after publishing he got 20,000 views on his slide. From then David started posting slides consistently and all of them got 20,000 – 30,000 views in few days. (this part is from Problogger)
You can see that when his slide is getting 1000s of view in few days how much it can make his blog in a month.
So how he got it?
I think is his slide made in to fist page of Slideshare because of optimizing and it went viral because of its awesome design.
How Can We Achieve it?
It all starts from selecting a topic, and images you are going to make into presentation. So first thing which comes is design.
Your design must be attractive at the same time should resemble your niche. Lets say you have photography blog, so when a user sees your slide he need to understand easily that, ho! this is photographs slide.
So designing is important here, if you are new no need to worry just try with simple slides. And remember be straight forward to your users. Users don`t have time to read your slide if you have long passages. Make it short and to the point.
Ok, now let me give one such example who had just started making slides and got tremendous results, he is Onibalusi.
Here is his first slide! Go through it. And see how many views it got.
I gave you two real people examples one who got in 2011 other who just started in 2012, so now I think you too got confidence that you can do it.

As I said earlier your slide need to be attractive, try using few online presentation tools, here are few popular sites to make presentation.
- Prezi.com
- Google docs
- Windows power point
- Keynote (Mac)
Optimize Your Slide
Slideshare has its search program, to get into first page of slideshare when someone searches for your niche, you need to follow these steps. (I tried it for my client presentations and it worked for me not sure it will work for you or not)
- Keyword in the title of presentation
- Repeating keywords in the slide text
- Adding few relevant keyword terms in slide description
Let it Go Viral
Here comes FB, Twitter and Linked In.
- Share slide with your friends on FB, Twitter and Linked In
- Embed slide to your Linked In profile (Slideshare is acquired by Linked In you can easily do it)
- Add the slide to your blog! (How to add Slideshare to WP blog)
As you can see on Slideshare home page that it displays slides which are popular on FB, Twitter and Linked In. So share it your friends and tell them to share with all to make it to home page of Slideshare.

hmm.. nice idea i love photography. i think i should make slides of birds pictures and then upload it to slide share i also run a photo blog. It will definitely good source of trafic and i saw 2nd person slides he has 8220 views now. I think we should also think of alternate sources of traffic
