No, Yes or No idea?
Ok, yes you can increase your blog traffic with video sites. Like blogging or guest posting video sharing is a platform which can bring you tons of visitors if you work hard on it.
How it Affects SEO?
Ever heard about blended searches before? Long back in 2008 Google introduced this search type. Blended search is a combination of images, videos and web pages. The same thing what you`re seeing now when you Google anything.

So if you share about your blog or business on popular videos sharing sites it makes your work easy to get visitors. Isn`t it?

HI Khaja,
I use to place my videos on so many different video sites because I was told like everyone else that you need to get your content out there for all to see. Now I suppose it’s suppose to help with the backlinking but I honestly never saw those results so I stopped.
When you do a search on Google for your keywords, the only videos that ever ranked were on YouTube. I continue to scratch my head over that one but what do I know right.
Not sure how well these sites are doing but they are a high PR so that’s says it all.

Hi Andrienne,
Youtube, dailymotion are only sites which we see frequently in SERPs.
But it`s not that we`re just concentrating only traffic through search engines. If we`re active in these sites it may bring more readers to your blog.

I agree. Though, unless you’re a some-what famous youtuber with a decent number of views; don’t expect to get any traffic. It’s quite useful for back-linking purposes, however.

im using this one..
Socialvid.Tv – The best place to share and watch videos.
Try Mejuba.com. Unlimited storage for both videos and pictures and
it’s completly free. No monthly limits or qoutas. You can upload a wooping 1GB PER upload!
Photos and videos are stored in their original formats and sizes and are kept unmodified for backup.
I also like that you can geo-tag your stuff so it shows up on a map. And you can search for stuff on
the map – that’s cool!. Already geotagged photos are automatically mapped when uploading.
As the only site i know of it uses a Windows Explorer like navigation with folders – super eacy to
use – even has drag and drop!.
It’s free, fast, nice design as SO much better than Flickr and Photobucket.
