5 Tips on How to Choose a Web Hosting Provider

 web hosting

Choosing right web hosting provider is as much important as having a blog/site for online business. Best hosting can increase returning traffic, as it`s hosting which is main reason behind site speed.

Who would like to be on a slow site? Do you?

Below are listed 5 steps to help you choose best web hosting.

#1 Reliability is the first thing to check

Unfortunately many people when they decide to start a blog, they look for hosting who provides more disk space, bandwidth etc…  actually you need to check it`s reliability, percentage of your site up is very important.

When you have lot`s of disk space, bandwidth, domains…lots more useless stuff and your blog is down maximum what will you do?

Decide based on it`s uptime and server capability.

Read on this HostGator Review.

#2 Do some research

Use Google, Bing or anyother search engine you like and search for reviews about the web hosting you selected. Don`t get out to buy just reading one review, research here mean real research! Hope you got it.

#3 Ask their current customers

Best way to get a review about any business asking their current customers. Even, asking old customers will not work out. get some handful of customers and contact them directly, or you can participate in web hosting forums to get current customers. I knew it takes time but this is one time work.

#4 Test their customer support by yourself

Visit their site and contact their customer support through live chat and see how they interact with you. If you`re technical enough to ask them then pose them few technical questions, else ask them basic questions.

#5 Don`t go for cheap hosting

You may be attracted by many hosting companies with low price, high bandwidth and diskspace. Don`t every go for them, as they can`t guarantee to be up for max time as they are overselling it.

Which is the Best Hosting Company?

The best hosting company, as am writing now is Host Gator, reason is simple I`m using it and I found it very very useful.

Here is my complete review on Host Gator.

You can try Host Gator for a month for 0.01$,  use this (CBTHost1cent) coupon for 1 cent.

If you ask me to recommend another hosting provider then I will certainly name Blue Host.

Cheap web hosting equals low quality service
To my opinion, HostGator is top. I have been with them since 2008 and no issues. Their customer service is unmatched.

    Thanks for the guide bro

    Hi Khaja,

HostGator would be the one of top as I’ve experienced and from many feedback I’ve got from my friends, Bluehost is another great hosting partner too.

You are very true about the realiablity and that’s something people often don’t think about. If anyone not sure which way to go, then asking existing customers would be the best one as always else just get caught up with their own information is unreliable when it comes to any product or service :)

I hope folks take your tips and give their best shot for hosting ;)

    Cheers…

If you opt for cheap hosting it will end up hurting your business, I have been using Hostgator for a couple of years now and would not use any other, they are the best. Last year I had some sites hacked and their support system was wonderful they had me back up and running within a couple of hours!

    Hi

It’s not always that cheap hosting providers are bad. Recently i had an experience with a cheap hosting provider in India. The experience was very good. They took my issue like no one else can and helped me make my sites up & running within hours. Actually two of my site database connectivity was lost & being a non techy person i was not able to do and they helped me out. I write a detailed post about my experience on my bog.
