6 Reasons Why No One Comments On Your Blog

What do you think could be he reason for less or no comments on your blog?

Is it poor content? Or it`s like people hate your blog.

So why they hate your blog?

The reason could be anything, but here am going to share 6 such reasons which are more common reasons, this is the reason which made you Google this – “Why no one comments on my blog?”

So without any ado lets see what are those 6 reasons leaving you out in cold.

6 Common Reasons Why No One Comments on Your Blog

#1 Not commenting on other blogs

Blogging world depends sharing and networking, when you don`t give back for what other bloggers had provided you with (information) then how could you expect back from them?

Tip#

So simply go and comment on other blogs of your niche. But don`t spam! Bloggers hate spam. All you have to do is just share your views on the topic, it`s damn easy.

#2 You`re not asking

When you don`t ask, why will anyone favor you? Everyone can`t be so generous to give you back when you don`t ask them. Don`t be shy, ask them to comment.

Tip#

All you need to do is just ask them to share or ask their views. End the post with a question, suggestion.

#3 Less informative content

Irrespective of your success or failure, one thing every blogger must remember that his/her blog is to provide information to internet users you`re hungry! Before hitting publish button ask yourself is it worthy? If yes, then is it readable?

Having worthy content is not enough, making it readable to readers is most important. Before blogger you`re reader, how much time do you spent on passages?

If you ask me, just 2 secs max.

Tip#

Concentrate more on information which can drive readers back to your blog, and that can happen combining with readable text.

#4 It`s much harder to comment on your blog

I agree spammers penetrate through your blog to get a link, but you can stop them with ani-spam plugins also why do you use captchas? All over the internet almost every site is using captcha codes. Readers get frustrated by this.

Tip#

Instead of captcha use Akismet and GASP. I personally recommend you to use Comment luv plugin. It can really increase your comments.

#5 Not allowing links in comments

It`s bitter truth that many of them comment on other blogs to get some benefit, it may be a link or networking. Without benefit no one will favor you.

If you don`r allow links in comments then why will they comment? I knew no one does this, anyway if you`re planning to do this then change it immediately.

Tip#

You can make your blog dofollow or use comment luv plugin.

#6 You don`t care your commentators

Replying to comments as important as writing a post. If you don`t reply user don`t think you`re real and end up not visiting your blog again.

Tip#

Reply to their comments. In case if anyone gives negative comments reply it back with lots of patience, ignore if it exceeds.

  2. You are right Khaja, these are very good reasons why people aren’t commenting.

A few years ago I connected with a blogger who really shared great stuff. She was very popular and very helpful. All of a sudden she decided to get rid of CommentLuv. She wanted people to comment because the content was good and not because they would get some link juice.

Guess what happened? People quit visiting. She eventually lost a lot of her readers.

Now I can appreciate you wanting people to visit your blog and read your content because it’s just darn good but that’s not how most people think. Remember, it’s “what’s in it for them”.

So your advice of getting CommentLub is to me spot on. We all want to be loved for who we are so if that’s the case, what’s wrong with helping them out as well.

    Excellent list here Khaja.

      Hi Adrienne,

Absolutely correct, when you don`t give anything we can`t expect anything.

And when you make your blog dofollow it get attracts more readers than before and the best thing that can happen is they can link back to your blog from their post!

      I`m glad you liked it.

But unfortunately many bloggers are not taking it as serious as it should be taken.

This is the reason why all bloggers write few things which are simple, basic but important to have successful blog.

  5. Hi,
Well this must be the reason that your blog is not so interactive and engaging with others and that is why you are not getting enough comments there. Apart from this, content also play an important role. You need to update your blog with informative content. Thanks for the share!! Definitely a great help for all bloggers.

  6. Hi Khaja, you know what? I guess this is one of your best posts and obviously straight to the point.

I’ve relaunched a new website and it’s now 3 days old and will certainly make the best out of it.

  7. Hi Khaja!

I definitely went through all that when I first got started into blogging. I wasn’t sure why my pages weren’t being ranked, why no one like my posts or why I haven’t gotten any conversation. I learned that I was writing my content wrong, I haven’t been creating backlinks, and I haven’t been connecting with other bloggers. I’ve learned a lot since then and corrected all of my mistakes. It was a huge change for me :)
